Los Skrulls se disponen a destruir a los 4 Fantásticos, para conquistar la Tierra. Para ello, han dado sus poderes al Super-Skrull además de un poder de hipnotismo y lo envían a la Tierra, pero Mr. Fantástico bloquea su fuente de energía y los 4 Fantásticos lo derrotan.

La Viuda Negra utilizando sus encantos logra robar a Tony Stark un nuevo rayo capáz de mover montañas. Con él, recupera el favor de sus jefes, que le encargan que elimine definitivamente a Iron Man. Nuevamente es derrotada, pero logra huir.

El Dr. Extraño se queda dormido y se olvida de recitar los hechizos que le protegen mientras duerme, esta oportunidad es apovechada por Pesadilla para atrapar al mago, pero al final el mago escapa hipnotizando a Pesadilla y haciendole creer que le ataca un ser que no duerme.
